Volleyball travels to IUS looking to extend six-match win streak | Campbellsville

NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The Lady Tiger volleyball team returns to Indiana University Southeast for the first time in two years to extend their six-match win streak on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Live video and live stats will be available.

Campbellsville (2-2, 0-0 MSC) pulled out a pair of wins over Brescia University and Point Park University this past weekend at the Lindsey Wilson Classic in Columbia, Ky. Indiana University Southeast (2-2) also went 2-2 at The Classic, pulling out a Saturday win over Freed-Hardeman but falling to Northwestern Ohio in a five-set match.

Campbellsville was led by Annija Abolina with a career-high 23 and 28 kills in the opening tournament against Point Park and Brescia, respectively. Inoa Fields totaled 164 of the teams 200 assists in The Classic only one shy of surpassing her single-match record of 57 against Brescia.

The Grenadiers were picked to finish fifth in River State Conference (RSC) and second in the RSC West Division. IU Southeast has won its home openers the last four seasons and hopes to continue this tradition with leaders Hannah Joly and Hannah Barkers who ranked top-10 in tournament play with 35 kills, and No. 8 in assists during the Lindsey Wilson Classic with 97.

Both Campbellsville and IU Southeast will hit the road this weekend to play in the Indiana Wesleyan Tournament in Marion, Ind.
