EKU Women’s Tennis Set to Open Conference Play

Eastern Kentucky University Athletics
RICHMOND, Ky. | The Eastern Kentucky University women’s tennis team is set for a two game home-stand this weekend to open Ohio Valley Conference play.

The Colonels will square off against Southeast Missouri State on Friday at 12 p.m. The match will be played indoors at the Greg Adams Tennis Center. Eastern will then close the weekend against the University of Tennessee at Martin at 11 a.m. on Saturday. That match could be played outdoors, weather permitting.

EKU (4-6) comes into the contests on a two-match skid after dropping matches against Bethune-Cookman and Lindsey Wilson the last two weekends. The match against Stetson was halted due to rain and will not be rescheduled.

The Redhawks come into the weekend with an 8-3 mark, while the Skyhawks carry in a 4-3 record.
