Record Setting Night Propels Maroons to 4th Straight KY State Title Matchup

It was yet another record setting night at Pulaski County High School as the Maroons advanced to their 4th consecutive state championship game, defeating South Oldham in exciting fashion 62-55. The Maroons fell behind 17-0 just minutes into the game, digging out of hole after hole to secure the victory.

Pulaski Co QB Wiley Cain broke his own single game passing record going 29-41 for 487yds and 5TDs.  The Maroons’ Jake Johnson had 19 catches(breaking the PC single game receptions record) for 289yds and 3 TDs. Defensively, Johnson also had 2INT, returning 1 of those for a TD.
