No. 19: Softball Beats Campbellsville 20-2 in MSC Finals, Matches Program Record with 47 Wins | Lindsey Wilson

COLUMBIA, Ky. — For the third straight year, the Lindsey Wilson College softball team captured the Mid-South Conference Tournament title in 2012. This time, the Blue Raiders used an offensive explosion — five home runs and 19 hits — en route to a 20-2 rout of Campbellsville University to claim another trip to the national tournament.

The title is No. 19 on the Lindsey Wilson College athletics’ Top-22 of 2011-12.

The Blue Raiders matched a program-record with 47 wins during the season on its way to the MSC regular season and tournament titles. Lindsey Wilson fell shy of advancing beyond pool play at the national tournament but closed the season with a 10-0 win over Indiana University Southeast in the Blue Raiders’ final game of the season.
