RICHMOND, Ky. – Elsa Moberly, the 2014 Kentucky Miss Golf, broke the Eastern Kentucky women’s golf single round record with a 67 on Monday at the Thundering Herd Kickoff, her first event as a Colonel.

Moberly, a sophomore transfer from Mississippi State, opened play with a first round 74 before shaving seven strokes off that total for a second round 4-under 67. The Somerset, Kentucky native finished first overall with a 36-hole total of 141 (-1).
