Light of Chance to host the Southern Heat Softball Classic

Madisonville, KY —Light of Chance, Inc. will host its first annual Southern Heat Softball Classic July 20-22nd at the YAA Complex in Madisonville.softball

Participants may form teams with co-works, church members or a group of friends and enter in the Men’s Open Industrial or the Co-ed Open divisions. Teams may register for the Men’s Open Industrial Division for $200 or the Co-ed Open Division for $150. Each team is guaranteed to play three games.

The tournament is a part of the Light of Chance annual fundraising campaign, “A Chance to Shine.” All proceeds will go toward Light of Chance’s many innovative community initiatives, such as Aspire, the Get Set Go wellness program, the Breathe arts program and others. Light of Chance also aims to provide a premier, competitive and fun tournament while informing and assisting its mission, purpose and vision.

“The Southern Heat Softball Classic is another great opportunity for Light of Chance to engage the community and further our mission,” says Eric Logan, Light of Chance Founder and Executive Director. “We strongly encourage individuals, churches and community organizations to get involved because we count on their support in order to be able sustain and improve our initiatives.”

The YAA Complex is located at 1955 Laffoon Trail, Madisonville, KY 42431.

The deadline to enter is Monday, July 16th.  The entry fee can be paid at Light of Chance’s office at 208 N. Kentucky Avenue located in the Rosenwald-Smith Multicultural Center in Madisonville on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or online at lightofchance.org.
