Former WKU Soccer Star Continues Career Across The Pond

The Western Kentucky University Athletic Media Relations Office says Libby Stout has signed a pro contract with a French team. She is the first player in the history of the program to take her game to the next level.
soccerThe Louisville native signed her contract Thursday morning with F.F. Yzeure Allier Auvergne. The club was founded in 1999.
“We are really excited,” said WKU head coach Jason Neidell. “Libby is such a great person and such a great player. Good things happen to good people. This is a first for Lady Topper soccer. She is the first player to sign a professional contract for women’s soccer from our university. We are really excited for Libby. We are excited for her blog and her Twitter account (@libbystout) so we can follow her as well.”
She became the all-time leader in wins and minutes played last season, posting a 45-17-11 record guarding the pipes. She also had 39 shutouts for the Lady Toppers, that is the second most in NCAA history.
The Lady Toppers of today are in Muncie, Indiana for the Ball State Tournament that is taking place this weekend.
