Another Bulldog Coach Retires | Male High

Male HighJohn Hammond, Louisville Male High’s long time softball coach is calling it quits. Hammond, who coached the freshman, junior varsity, and varsity teams, has been forced to step down due to the lack of flexibility in his schedule. Hammond sent an email to all current players and parents informing them of the move and that he will continue to help out the team as much as he can until Athletic Director John Kelsey can find an adequate replacement. He thanked all of the parents and players for the sacrifices that they have made to make the Male High Softball program what it is today. Hammond left the program with a hopeful outlook on the upcoming season as the Bulldogs return four Varsity starters from last year including dynamic senior pitcher Ally Miozza. This is the second coaching change in as many months with baseball coach Todd Driskell stepping down about a month earlier.Male HighMale High
